With inaction at the federal level the Victorian state government is stepping up, and legislating emission targets that will get us to zero emissions.

Have your say on what the emission target for 2025 and 2030 should be. The Australian Wind Alliance suggests targets in line with a 1.5°C carbon budget as an imperative for government policy. Here are some pointers of what you could include:

  • Add other policy ideas to reduce emissions
  • List the brilliant benifits of reducing emissions
  • What are the most important barriers and how can they be overcome
  • Talk about what reducing emissions means for local communities, especially with the benefits of wind projects for jobs and locals.
